I have lived and worked in India, Dubai, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the U.S. and during the last 15 years, I have managed people and multi-functional, diverse teams across the globe as an auditor, forensic investigator, compliance assurance, financial crime risk and control professional working for some of the largest brands in the world. My career spans 20+ years with experience in audit, fraud investigations, dispute arbitrations, contract compliance, compliance assurance and financial crime compliance risk and control operations.
My career highlights include leading an investigation conducted for the Ministry of Finance in the U.A.E.; establishing a peer quality review program in the Middle East North Africa region for the forensic function of a big four accounting firm; and leading the Conduct, Financial Crime and Compliance assurance program in the Europe and Americas region for a global financial institution.
In addition to earning a Masters of Science in Cybercrime in 2022, I lead a corporate mentorship program and a firm-wide D&I Initiative in partnership with local colleges and universities. I design and lead workshops in Financial Literacy for high school girls and I mentor young people. I had my first article 'Use These Four Tips To Overcome The Fear That You're Not Good Enough' published on Forbes.
My dream job is to work at the United Nations. Meeting and talking to different people and understanding different cultures is my passion. I enjoy being on the water and my favorite team sport is Dragon Boat racing!
I am a Chartered Accountant, a Certified Anti-Money laundering Specialist, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a student of Cybercrime.
